On Tuesday, 21st May 2025, IIT Dharwad’s dhaRti Foundation, in association with KLE-CTIE, successfully organized an insightful in-person awareness session titled “State Support to Startup Success: A Guide to Karnataka Startup Policy 2022–27.” The event featured the expert Startup Cell Team from the Government of Karnataka, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Karnataka Startup Policy 2022–27. Held at the Old Senate Hall, R H Kulkarni Building, KLE Technological University (BVB Campus) in Hubballi, the session was designed to equip attendees with critical knowledge about leveraging state-backed initiatives for startup growth.

Attendees gained detailed insights into various government schemes, funding opportunities, and startup incentives available under the policy. The Startup Cell Team also provided a thorough walkthrough of flagship programs such as Elevate and K-Tech, which are instrumental in supporting and scaling startups across the state. A highly interactive Q&A session allowed participants to engage directly with government officials, clarifying doubts and gaining personalized advice on how to navigate the policy landscape and maximize benefits for their ventures.

The session attracted a diverse and engaged audience, including early-stage and growth-stage startups, faculty in-charge and incubator managers, and various ecosystem enablers from across North Karnataka. This gathering fostered a valuable platform for networking and collaboration among key stakeholders in the regional startup ecosystem. The successful execution of this event underscores dhaRti Foundation’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening the startup ecosystem in Karnataka by facilitating direct access to vital government resources and information.
